whimsical figure who wears a charming suit
and effects a jolly demeanor, I'm a symbol. I'm a symbol of the human
ability
to be able to suppress the selfish and the hateful
tendencies
that rule the major parts of our lives."
 Mr. Kringle's mission is very simple -- to bring joy to children,
even if it is just for a moment in time. He takes this
job very seriously. You can touch the heart and soul of a child in so
many ways, and the little things that those of us who are older --
in Santa's case much older -- may now take for granted, can be very
big in the eyes of a child. The moment may be fleeting, but the
memories can last a lifetime.
Kriss truly appreciates the awe in a child's eyes when they see
him in the bright red suit with his white beard. Anyone who has ever
visited Santa Claus or received a visit from the jolly old elf,
carries that experience in their heart and memory the rest of their
lives. Those memories resurface each Christmas season in all of us
and as we grow older we long for those types of memories once again.
This is why Kriss always tries to make every experience special
for each and every child, leaving each one with a special feeling, a
smile and the joy of having Santa's full attention at that moment in
time.
If we all remember to give our full attention to our children,
then they will remember it and us for a lifetime, and isn't that the
legacy we really want to leave behind for them?
